Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB) today announced the launch of its card control service which allows cardholders to control when, where and how each of their credit cards is used. The new functionality will allow all ADCB credit card holders to perform seven self-service actions on their credit cards through the ADCB mobile app without the need to call the contact center or visit a branch .
Easily accessible with the ADCB mobile app, the range of card control services include: Temporary Card Blocking which allows cardholders to easily deactivate or activate their individual cards, thus increasing their confidence with the card and reducing cases of misplaced cards being reported Lost or stolen; Management of spending limits, daily or monthly, to meet the desire of cardholders to control their spending and respect the budget of their choice, thus increasing their comfort during their purchases; and finally by choosing the types of transactions allowed to add a layer of control that makes cardholders more confident when using their cards and decreasing cases of fraud, cardholders can selectively turn on or off transactions such as e-commerce, international transactions, in-store transactions or ATM cash withdrawals.
