AU Small Finance Bank launches credit card that lets customers choose features

AU Small Finance Bank on Wednesday announced the launch of the AU Bank LIT (Live-It-Today) credit card which allows customers to choose the features they want on their card and also to decide for which period they want these features.

Instead of purchasing multiple cards for different categories, such as travel, shopping, etc., the customer can opt for the categories of their preference under this offer and can also change any of these features when they wishes, according to the bank.

“While credit card companies offer attractive products in different categories, it is often difficult for customers to find the combination of all these features in one card. This forces them to opt for several credit cards offering rewards of specific categories such as the travel card to maximize travel-related expenses or co-branded cards to make purchases on specific e-commerce sites. With the LIT credit card, the Bank has put the power to choose these characteristics in the hands of customers – all categories on one card. Plus, they also have the freedom to turn these features on or off as their lifestyle changes,” AU Small Finance Bank said in his statement.

Customers can activate any real-time feature for a small fee, and the default validity period for each feature is 90 days. Additionally, cardholders can track their income from transactions made through the card on the AU0101 app.

The LIT credit card offers five categories of features, including one or two lounge access per quarter (customer must choose), milestone benefits, free membership to various OTT and lifestyle services, higher rewards for online and POS transactions and other smaller rewards, such as fuel surcharge waiver and cash back on groceries, among others.

“Soon we observed that digital-savvy and GenZ consumers needed more control over the products they use. This led to the evolution of the customizable LIT credit card which combines the features of many credit cards into one card. We will continue to launch many such innovative products and stay true to our mission to be the agent of change through our mission, Badlaav Humse Hai,” said Sanjay Agarwal, MD and CEO, AU Small Finance Bank.

AU Bank launched its first range of credit cards last year. Since launching its first credit card last year, the bank says it has signed up more than 2.3,000 credit card customers in more than 200 districts in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities.
