Bank of Kigali adds new features to BK online banking platform – KT PRESS

Banque de Kigali (BK) internet banking products have been revamped and amplified with new features to enable its customers to transact without leaving their location.

Some of the products that have been on the BK online banking platform include: checking account balances, checking transfers, downloading and printing bank account statements, paying taxes, utilities and transaction authorization.

Others are Irembo beneficiary management and bulk payments.

The five (5) newly added products and services on BK Online Banking include:

URUBUTO Pay With BK Internet Banking Channel where you can pay high school and college tuition easier and faster. You don’t need to waste time queuing at any branch.

In addition, there is MTN/AIRTEL Purchase which makes it easier and faster to buy MTN & AIRTEL floats with BK Internet Banking Chanel.

Also worth mentioning is instant card load to load your prepaid and credit card and instantly start using credit without needing to contact the bank.

For tax issues of queuing all day at Rwanda Revenue Authority offices, BK Internet Banking allows you to pay RRA taxes on time and helps you avoid late payment fine when BK Internet Banking is readily available.

With BK Internet Banking, importers and exporters can be assured of working with the National Agricultural Export Development Board (NAEB) – a product that enables the business community to pay for imports and exports.

You don’t need to queue at the bank when you can make payments in a snap.


BK Internet Banking is available to business and personal account holders who have a BK current or savings account.

Signing up for BK Internet Banking is a quick and easy one-time process. You can register by completing the registration form and dropping it off at any of our branches or at the BK head office in the heart of Kigali.

You will receive a registration username and password that you can use to access BK Internet Banking.
