Given the growing popularity of social media and to take its clients to a whole new banking world, the State Bank of India – India’s largest bank – has released a new app, called SBI Mingle, which is your companion for operations. easy banking with all your friends and social media contacts. State Bank Mingle, in fact, is SBI’s social banking app that lets you do basic banking activities through its official social media pages. How to start

To get started, you need to access SBI Mingle from the official SBI Facebook page. Once access to the page is established, you must register and then log in.

Log in

You will need to enter a password each time to access the app. You can now perform the following transactions:

1. View the balance

Now you no longer need to log out of social media to find your account balance. Once you have registered with SBI Mingle, you can check your last “outstanding” balance.

Steps to view the balance:

# Log in to Facebook.

# Open the SBI Mingle app from the official SBI Facebook page.

# Log in with your app password.

# Click on the “display the balance” menu.

# The balance of the corresponding account is displayed instead of the link “Click here to display the balance”.

2. Mini-declaration

You can get the Mini Statement, i.e. the last 10 transactions on the account.

Steps to view the mini-statement:

# Log in to Facebook.

# Open the SBI Mingle app from the official SBI Facebook page.

# Log in with your app password.

# Click on the “display the mini-statement” menu.

# The details (Transaction Date, Details, Dr., Cr. And Balance) of the last 10 transactions for the corresponding account are displayed on the screen with an option to go back.

3. Manage the beneficiary

You can add, edit, retrieve and delete your recipients for money transfer through the SBI Mingle app. This functionality will require that your mobile number be registered with SBI.

Steps to manage the beneficiary:

# Log in to Facebook.

# Open the SBI Mingle app from the official SBI Facebook page.

# Log in with your app password.

# Click on the “Manage beneficiary” menu.

# All your beneficiaries added through different channels will be visible in tabular form.

# You can modify and delete your beneficiaries from this menu.

4. Transfer of funds

You can transfer funds from your SBI account to other accounts in SBI or any other bank using State Bank Mingle. The transaction limit per transaction per day for a user is Rs 5000. The transaction limit per day is cumulative of all transfer transactions to own accounts, other SBIs and other bank accounts for the user. Mingle. 6. Details of blocking ATM debit card

You can block your ATM debit card instantly through SBI Mingle on Facebook in case it gets lost, stolen or damaged.

Steps to block ATM debit card:

# Log in to Facebook.

# Open the SBI Mingle app from the official SBI Facebook page.

# Log in with your app password.

# Click on the “Block debit / ATM card” menu.

# Once you have selected the desired account, the system will display the list of ATM cards attached to it.

# You can block the card from this menu.

7. Check the books

You can perform checkbook services like Request Checkbook, Stop Check Payment instantly through SBI Mingle on Facebook.

Steps for managing the checkbook:

# Log in to Facebook.

# Open the SBI Mingle app from the official SBI Facebook page.

# Log in with your app password.

# Click on the “Checkbook management” menu.

# Select the “Request a checkbook” option.

# You can select the account, the number of checks and request your checkbook.

# This will be delivered to your registered address by mail or pick up at your home branch.

# Select the “Stop check request” option.

# You can select an account, enter the check number and submit your opposition payment request.

8. Nearest branch and ATM

You can search for the nearest SBI branch and ATM through SBI Mingle on Facebook.

Steps to view nearest SBI branch and SBI ATM:

# Log in to Facebook.

# Open the SBI Mingle app from the official SBI Facebook page.

# Log in with your app password.

# Click on the “Find the nearest branch” menu.

# Click on the “Find the nearest ATM” menu.

# This will give you the referral link on the official SBI website.

9. Subscription to SMS alerts

You can instantly register SMS alert service through SBI Mingle on Facebook.

Steps for recording SMS alerts:

# Log in to Facebook.

# Open the SBI Mingle app from the official SBI Facebook page.

# Log in with your app password.

# Click on the “Record SMS alerts” menu.

# You can select an account and submit to change your SMS options.

# Log in with your app password.

# Click on the “P2P money transfer” menu.

# Check the notification if a user has sent you money.

# You can exchange the money on your SBI or another bank account.

# You can send money to your Facebook contact from the friends list.

# The secret code to share with the friend only via secure communication.

# This code will be used by your friend to redeem the money.
