Doha: Qatar Islamic Bank (QIB) announced the launch of the Dhareeba payment service, a new feature allowing its retail and business customers to pay their businesses’ tax bills on QIB’s award-winning mobile app and banking services through Internet for businesses.
As part of Qatar’s continued efforts to accelerate digital government initiatives and QIB’s efforts to provide the latest digital solutions to its retail and enterprise customers, the Dhareeba payment service has been introduced in Internet banking services. business and the QIB mobile app to create a streamlined banking experience.
The Dhareeba feature takes an easy-to-follow step-by-step approach allowing customers to pay their tax bills in minutes. It automatically calculates and processes different types of taxes to help taxpayers manage their tax transactions in accordance with Qatari tax laws. The service is available 24/7 and taxpayers receive immediate feedback, eliminating any errors.
Retail customers can pay their tax bills by simply logging into their QIB Mobile App account. The new service is added under the âPay and Transferâ feature on the QIB mobile app, where customers can enter their Dhareeba details, view their overdue payments, and choose which ones they want to pay and the preferred payment method.
In addition, business customers can pay their tax invoices securely via their Internet Banking platform. Corporate customers can log into their corporate internet bank account, tap “Payments” and make a Dhareeba payment in an easy and convenient way.
Corporate Internet Banking allows companies to have full digital control over their accounts and includes many features such as user access control, account management, beneficiary management, payments and transfers, management of credit cards, utility bill payment, general service request, SWEEP and automatic coverage – Cash management and printing of their account transaction history.
