RAJSHAHI: Rajshahi Krishi Unnayan Bank (RAKUB) has introduced a “mobile app” and “online banking” to boost its banking services.
An inaugural function in this regard was held at the Rajshahi Zila Parishad Auditorium on Wednesday.
Chaired by Abdul Mannan, Managing Director of RAKUB, the ceremony was attended by Sheikh Mohammad Salim Ullah, Secretary of the Financial Institutions Division of the Ministry of Finance, as the chief guest.
Chairman of RAKUB Raisul Alam Mondal, its Director and Divisional Commissioner of Rajshahi GSM Zafar Ullah, Executive Director of Bangladesh Bank Rajshahi Jibon Krihsna Roy and Deputy Commissioner of Rajshahi Abdul Jalil attended the event as guests specials.
RAKUB has already introduced the basic online real-time banking solution in all of its 383 branches, including the head office, and at the same time introduced BACPS and BAFTN, RTGS, A-Challan and SMS banking.
Through the introduction of mobile apps and internet banking, RAKUB aims to reach the threshold of ordinary people.
