SBI customer alert! Internet banking, UPI, YONO services will remain unavailable on June 20


Notice to SBI customers! India’s largest public bank, State Bank of India, said online services such as online banking, UPI payment, YONO utility apps and YONO Lite will remain unavailable for about 40 minutes on Sunday, June 20.

SBI tweeted this information so that SBI users don’t face any difficulties. Internet Banking, UPI Payment, YONO, YONO Lite will not remain available for 40 minutes between 01:00 and 01:40 on June 20, 2021.

SBI said its internet banking services will remain unavailable so that it can work on its scheduled maintenance activities. The bank took to Twitter to inform users of the unavailability of services.

“We ask our valued customers to stay with us as we strive to provide a better banking experience,” SBI tweeted. In a message accompanied by its tweet, the bank said it would undertake maintenance activities between 1:00 a.m. and 1:40 a.m. on 06/20/2021.

“During this period, Internet Banking / YONO / YONO Lite / UPI will be unavailable. We regret the inconvenience caused and ask you to be patient with us,” he said.

Also earlier, SBI, YONO, YONO Lite and UPI’s online banking services were temporarily down on June 17 for a few hours.

In another news, Google Pay said on Wednesday it has expanded its network of banking partners offering card tokenization on the Google Pay app and added lenders such as SBI, IndusInd Bank, Federal Bank and HSBC India.

“After successfully deploying tokenization with Kotak Mahindra Bank, SBI Cards and Axis Bank, Google Pay has now added debit cards from SBI, IndusInd Bank and Federal Bank and credit cards from IndusInd Bank and HSBC India to his list, “said a statement. noted.

Tokenization is a feature that allows users to make debit or credit card payments through a secure digital token attached to their phone without having to physically share their credit or debit card details.
