State Bank of India online banking services will not be available today for 40 minutes due to maintenance activities to be undertaken by the bank. During this period, Internet Banking / YONO / YONO Lite / UPI will be unavailable.
The bank took to Twitter to inform users of the unavailability of services. “We ask our valued customers to stay with us as we strive to provide a better banking experience,” SBI tweeted. In a message accompanied by its tweet, the bank said it would undertake maintenance activities between 1:00 a.m. and 1:40 a.m. on 06/20/2021.
This is the second time in June that the public lender’s digital services have been affected. SBI’s online services were also hit on June 17.
Also last month, State Bank’s digital banking platforms including Yono, Yono lite, online banking and the unified payment interface (UPI) were affected due to maintenance. These scheduled maintenances improve our digital banking experience. The bank is also fixing flaws to make digital banking more secure than ever.
SBI has the largest network with over 22,000 branches and over 57,889 ATMs across the country. As of December 31, 2020, it had 85 million internet banking users and 19 million mobile banking users. The number of UPI users of the bank stood at 135 million at the end of December.
