SBI Internet Banking: Still checking your old account balance? do this

SBI Internet Banking: On rare occasions, netbanking customers find that their account does not reflect the current bank account balance. If you are an SBI Internet Banking customer and are facing the same problem, don’t panic. Your account may not reflect the current balance due to a technical issue and it may start reflecting the current balance after some time. The official SBI website indicates two possible reasons:

– “Due to a technical problem, the data for this branch is not arriving. It may take some time to resolve the problem.”

– “Due to a technical problem, your account data was not received at the web center”.

The bank advises netbanking customers to ask their branch to resend your account data.

If you are unable to transfer funds online, it may be because the bank has not yet given you the right to do so. The SBI website states, “It’s because your branch didn’t give you transaction rights.” If you want the bank to allow the transfer of funds online, ask or directly to your branch to grant the facility.

Netbanking has made people’s lives easier as they no longer have to face long queues at banks to perform many tasks – be it transferring funds, making online, shopping online, etc.
