The country’s largest lender, the State Bank of India (SBI), has said that its internet banking services will be unavailable on June 20 for 40 minutes due to maintenance activities that will be undertaken by the bank. During this period, Internet Banking/YONO/YONO Lite/UPI will not be available.
“We ask our valued customers to support us as we strive to provide a better banking experience. We will be undertaking maintenance activities between 01:00 and 01:40 on 20.06.2021. During this period, Internet Banking / YONO / YONO Lite / UPI will not be available. We regret the inconvenience and ask for your patience,” SBI tweeted from its official Twitter account.
Last month, the bank’s digital banking platforms including Yono, Yono lite, Internet banking, Unified Payment Interface (UPI) were affected due to maintenance.
SBI has the largest network with over 22,000 branches and over 57,889 ATMs across the country. As of December 31, 2020, it had 85 million internet banking users and 19 million mobile banking users. The bank’s number of UPI users stood at 135 million at the end of December.
Meanwhile, SBI has issued a tender for two NPA accounts with arrears of almost ₹60 crores.
“In relation to the bank’s policy on the sale of financial assets, in accordance with regulatory guidelines, we are offering these accounts for sale to CRAs/banks/NBFCs/FIs, under the terms and conditions stated therein”, said SBI in a sale. note.
The bank put the accounts of NS Engineering Projects up for sale, with an outstanding loan of ₹36.98 crore, and Chinteshwar Steels Pvt Ltd, which must ₹22.72 crore at SBI.
The reserve price of these non-performing assets (NPA) for sale has been set at ₹17.19 crores and ₹10.50 crores, respectively.
The electronic auction for these two accounts will take place on July 7, 2021.
